I had trouble deciding whether "MJ" would go in the pop-culture icons section, or the black names section. I decided that I would put it in the black names section, as it is usually blacks who are named Michael Jordan. I could certainly make a "black celebrities" list, and include both MJs (jackson, and jordan), MLK, and others, but that feels too specific. And any non-black named Michael Jordan won't live long enough to even comprehend anything I'm saying about how he's screwed.
