This is a real thought and if we ever manage to simulate the history of our universe then it's almost certain that we ourselves are simulated.

If we're in a universe that's a simulated reality, then we would be able to find signs that we're optimized for good computation, or constraints on our reality, such as a minimum temperature, a maximum speed, or a rule that position and momentum are only knowable to certain tolerances. In other words, yes.
