Tolerance is a weak concept implying the behavior remains bothersome to the individual in question, but as a result of some subordination or coercion, the individual must find a way to tolerate the offensive behavior. An Alpha would say, I find it reasonable to allow bronies, which suggests the choice is his and his alone, and also that reasoed principle was applied in making the decision. Not simply what others think.
