Build a floor one block below where you want the water level to be, then use water buckets to even it out

Anyway, you may or may not have experience with the Zeppelin mod, but perhaps you may know how I could make it so my boat doesn't leave that effect (especially in the ocean) and still look like a boat?

I have considered that, but there's still one problem. My world is pretty much an ocean and I would like to be able to rejoin the world so I could sleep at sea when in the middle of nowhere. So it would be nice to modify the ship so it doesn't leave behind those watermarks.

@previous (D)I don't think it's picking up the water, but I might know why though since while constructing my farm by my little hut here. I have a few patches of it myself. I just mended it using Too Many Items. I love how I can now just switch into creative mode whenever I want to repair this crap. Still unsure on which is necessarily better, Too Many Items or Not Enough Items.
