Guessing will cost you a lot of money, especially when you know absolutely nothing about cars. You're assuming honda's are idiotproof and bulletproof, they're not. Whenever a car has been modified, you always walk away if you don't understand the effects and wear of the modifications. Your right, It probably would go 200k without major problems, if it was unmodified and driven on the highway by someone old most of its life. Teenagers and young adults abuse cars, revving them high, slamming the clutch to do burnouts, driving them for long periods in the city and idling and revving them because it sounds cool. Mileage only tells a small part the story. The "lambo doors" show that the car was owned by someone who probably didn't know jack shit about cars, except what he saw in need for speed and the fast and furious. You have to think about all of the small parts that are unnecessarily worn, such as dropping the suspension (which I will almost guarantee has been done). A front end rebuild on a FWD car can easily exceed $1500 dollars. An engine rebuild can cost over $4000.
Take my advice and walk away, find something sensible and bone stock, otherwise you are going to get burned.

No offense, but I don't think a 17-year-old Honda with damn near 140k on it will be very reliable at all. As a general rule of thumb, anything over 100k will have components start failing, because they weren't designed to last until the end of time. I really doubt a Honda gear box will last 300k (and over 20-years-old) like you're hoping it will. The fact it has Lambo doors just show that the previous owner riced it, meaning there is potential he has fucked around with the engine or done unhealthy mods elsewhere. If he has been driving it like it's actually a Lambo, shit is going to be abused especially the clutch and brakes.
If I were you I would save more and buy something with fewer miles, completely stock and preferably from an old person that has had it for years - it will have been serviced regularly, cared for and not driven like a Lamborghini. If you decide to pay more for cosmetic modifications to an old car with high mileage, that's unwise.

Pros: I bought 4 years ago when it had 122K miles on it. Now it has more than 204K miles on it. Great gas mileage, good handling, looks good. Fun to drive. Still goes 80-90 miles per hour on highways.
Cons: Shocks makes noise during winter.
Overall review: Great car made by Honda.

Resale value will hold forever, try to find one, I dare you! Fuel Economy, why can't car manufacturers not improve on what we knew in the 90's? It's a Honda.
Overall review: I bought this car at an auction recently with 207k mi. on it. I didn't even see the car, I bid on it because it was going for very little money, when I got home I found out the right side was damaged from bumper 2 bumper. After a new (junker) door, some bodywork, a stereo, tint, lot's of cleaning and some time on the road, I got to say, this car is amazing. I redline every time I drive it, it's simply makes me grin, I crused at 110mph to San Diego, and all I did was get iridium plugs + wires, not even an oil change!!! Afte 3000 mi, this car is simply running better every day. Get 30+mpg driving like a maniac, runs smoother, stronger, even certain "noises" have subsided. My brother drove an 80's gen for a delivery company, and he always talks about how much he abused the car, but it would just turn over every morning to get more. One of the best cars ever built, check you automotive history, it's a marvel of automotive engineering. I will never sell it, ever, it'll be passed on.

Engine was okay, drove very well. Interior was good. But the body had dings, the doors were hideously impractical to operate, the windshield was cracked in the corner, and it had 2 bald tires. Thanks but no thanks.

My stepdad is very close friends with a guy in the Glendale area who buys, sells, and fixes Volvo's. He said he has a 1988 Volvo 240 for sale that he did a lot of work on and I know this guy really put his heart into it. He's asking $3000, which while about twice what a private party could ask, is understandable as it's not a piece of shit and there's literally no need to worry about getting fucked over. It will have no problems in any way whatsoever. I'm going to check it out in a few days. The Volvo 240 has been voted the #1 hipster car on several different webzones. See for yourself.
If you know anything about old cars, you should know that like Hondas, Volvo's run forever.
