Topic: is Syntax illiterate?

It seems like he doesn't understand us any better than we understand him. It's like he was one of those kids who made it all the way through high school without ever learning to read or write. They'd just do their work by copying sentences randomly from the papers around them.

we should intervene. What can we do to help?

Also, it's easier to communicate with him if you speak his dialect. Pepper your sentences will references to satellites, Cardiff by the sea and 10 miles and he'll be able to understand you better.

Apparently the person i made this thread to antagonize isn't syntax.
