Is the word to describe our current era compared to that of the nineteen fifties, for example, individuality?
Nowadays you don't see very many women as housewives anymore or men in the workplace. I even heard somewhere that the number of working men are dropping.
Many people just seem like they want to fulfill their own roles in life and those who are unable to seem to find a religion to follow.
This may seem obvious to some, but I just want some clarification on rather or not the word "individuality" is accurate enough to use in describing today as gender roles were in the past.
