In California there are just too many fun things going on. School has to take a back seat. In North Dakota?

This doesn't surprise me. The California school system seems to be run like one of those sham non-profit organizations where the bulk of the money ends up going to administrative costs rather than where it is needed.

My point exactly. Now to be 100% fair. I have for work reasons and fun - traveled to 95% of USA States and one hell of a lot of Europe & the rest of Planet Earth.

So I have never been to North Dakota - really to be honest know little if nothing about the place - other then from your own posts its NOT a place to live long term. (Some good American Indian history however - school was good for something lolo

North Dakota is a wonderful place to raise a family, but it isn't a very exciting place. That's why a lot of people from there like to travel elsewhere.

You mean a wonderful place to raise a family & the offspring will grow up and move away ASAP.

This is true of most third world lands where peeps watch movies and TV's and see how the other 1/2 of the world lives.

It is full of friendly white people, jobs, great schools and affordable homes that didn't get hurt by the bubble. In fact, the area is practically recession-proof.
