Linkin Park for me. I gave Nickleback a shot because I have a thing for Canadians, but they blow.

Both by far the shittiest mainstream garbage ever. Nickelback being an overrated bar band and Linkin Park being some overrated awkward hybrid mix between some rock, skater and rap kids back in high school that blew up because the keyboardist knew what he was doing.

A number of years ago a friend of mine gave me a "Nickel Back" CD for my birthday, he was someone who lived far away from me, and so we only saw one another once or twice a year.
About a year later, he comes over my house, and sees the CD on my dresser, still unwrapped. I never even attempted to listen to it. He was offended, and asked me why I hadn't listened to it. I explained to him that I didn't have time for his shit music.
He now angry, and hurt told me that he needed some time alone, and then retired to the guest room where he was residing during his stay at my home.
I walked into his room, and proceeded to rape him to death. I tried so hard to lose it all, but in the end it doesn't even matter.

The Linking Park vs Nickelback thread again. For some reason this is a timeless internet classic even though there's really noting to discuss.
Time will prove Linkin Park the clear winner, if only becuause they didn't recycle the same song a dozen times.
Linkin Park reminds me of Blondie in a way. They'll never be top tier, but they'll always place among notable acts simply for having the balls to challenge their own sytle.

People in this thread be trolling. Nickelback is the one who stayed true the genre. Their music was edgy and raw, and remains so to this day. Linkin Park devolved into a whiny hipster rock. They started pumping out pure shit in the interest of being different. There's no artistic value in that when you're just doing it to keep the hipster faggots on board.
