Topic: So a white horse knocks on my door at 1:30 am.

I hear something big outside in the yard, and start thinking wtf is this shit. So I go to find flashlight. I find the one good flashlight left in pieces (lolkids). Luckily there is a bright moon out tonight! As I'm headed to the door it's hella loud out there 'clop clop clop" on sidewalk in front of door "BRAY, BRAY". Now I stop totally confused! I'm not sure what I expected, but a horse? Is this real life? Okey, fine a horse. I'll go check it out. So I walk out my back door and it's friggin horse@! Now I'm thinking to myself well wat do. So I head back in for a rope, I shall catch this fucking horse and ride off into the moonlight!!

When I come back out I can see the horse has wandered into my back field area (looks ghostly and shit being white in the moonlight). Challenge accepted. I slowly walk out there and click my tongue and talk smooth. I get real close before another horse walks out of the trees right up to me. It's an ambush!!! I kinda freeze up totally unprepared for this development (I only brought the one rope). Now it's me VS two horses. So I'm standing there talking to these two horses in the middle of the night in the dark in my backyard for a bit. Heck, we're almost friends at this point. I decide I should probably catch one while I can so I reach out and start petting them before I make my move. Well this is when things go really weird. After a few minutes of petting I reach out to pet the face of the white horse and my hand like goes INTO this big ass gash on it's face. Well fuck me running. This is a zombie horse attack. Honestly it scared the shit out of me. I kinda take a few steps back heart pounding panicky kinda mode. I can barely see these horses as it is, and for one to be all fucked up like that... fucking christ man. Like how deep must a cut be for my hand to go like into it? I'm glad at this point I can't really make out the cut in the low light, I can see it now, but just because it's darker than the rest of it's face.

Well now this kinda changes everything. An injured animal can panic real easy and I might hurt it even more trying to catch it alone in the dark. I need help. Fuck living alone sometimes. :(

I figure it must be my neighbors horses down the road, so I drive down there and knock on the whole house forever but no one is fucking home#@!@# These are like serious horse people with expensive horses and like the nicest fucking barn ever. How did these horses get out and why is one seriously injured? There is a mystery afoot! I don't even hardly know these people and this plain fucking sucks, I know the guy works out of town a lot... shit. dammit fack ass FUCK.

So I come back home and do the only thing I can think to do. I'll call the one neighbor who's phone number I have at 1:30 am! So he has the horse peoples phone numbers, like both their cell numbers and everything. YAY! Problem is, he's been calling off the hook for like 45 minutes and no one is picking up. :-/

This is all very awkward. I don't talk to any of my neighbors really, like ever. I only had the one guys number because his hunting dog wandered over a few weeks ago and I called the number on the tag and I still had it written down.

To be continued when more info comes in. The neighbor guy will be over in a few minutes and we're gonna try to round these horses up. But I think they wandered off into the cornfield across the street, lol dammit.

I thought this was a set-up for some strange chess joke.

Update.

Horses secured. The neighbor guy came with a flashlight and the horses were in my back tree line kinda just hanging around being horses. They're very friendly horses and came right to me when I called for them. The white horse is pretty fucked up though. :( The gash on it's face goes all the way down to the fucking bone and it has some cuts on it's legs. We put leads on them and I walked them down to the horse peoples' house and put them in the fenced in area closest to the barn and the neighbor guy who came over gave me a ride home. I'm hoping they'll be secure there, we didn't see any fucked up parts of the fence in that area. That white horse is gonna need some serious medical attention asap. If we can't get a hold of the horse people tomorrow I don't know wth to do. I'm off to bed.

How do you think the horse got hurt?

And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him.

Breaking out of the fence I'd guess. Animals will fuck them selves up trying to get away/out if they're scared. Something spooked that horse pretty bad. We do have mountain lions out here, but it wouldn't really even take something like that, horses can get kooky over something silly. Like we had a mule when I was a kid that was terrified of bicycles, it first time it saw one it was scared to death. It didn't even make any sense.

Shit was surreal, man.

Well the horse people are home today. Nobody has called or stopped by and told me anything, which is fine by me. I hope that horse is gonna be okay.
