Art is ultimately determined by the individual. Some things are art to a person and other things are not. But it's important to be elitist in this. For as soon as we accept that others may find art in things we personally find disgusting, the whole concept falls apart.
Once we accept others opinions regarding art may be valid, absolutely everything becomes art. It's bound to be great to somebody. And when everything is art, art becomes nothing special.
