They don't believe the the Falklanders have any right to self-determination, then they turn around and say Britain is the one having a "colonialist" attitude!

Their entire claim to the islands is ridiculous anyway - they believe Argentina 'inherited' Spain's claim to the Falklands.

I don't know why he dislikes them, but I find they can be irritating in their own way. While the Daily Mail yells about things like immigrants and video games being evil, the Guardian yells about things like the Lord of the Rings being "racist" and calling footage of a policeman arresting an aggressive drunk "officer brutality".

The way they act toward the Falklands leads me to doubt they even want the Islands. Maybe it's just a handy issue the Argentinian government can use to foster nationalist sentiment and distract Argentinians from the real issues facing the country.

Now they have India as a reminder every day about why this old policy fails. Brits now complain as Indians and Pakistanis are taking over the UK. They also have a mass of Africans in the UK as a result & complain complain & complain. Serves them right lolo

Argentina used just one cheep French missile to take out the brand new HMS Sheffield.

Agency condemns its own Falklands advert - http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-latin-america-17963577
A British-owned advertising agency has condemned its team in Argentina over an "offensive" video showing an Argentine athlete training in the Falklands.

The political advert shows hockey captain Fernando Zylberberg preparing for London 2012.

It ends with: "To compete on English soil we train on Argentine soil."

Young & Rubicam, owned by UK company WPP, said: "We strongly condemn this work and have asked the Argentine government to pull the spot."

The 90-second video - broadcast in Argentina on Wednesday night - shows Zylberberg running in Port Stanley and exercising outside the Globe Tavern.

The advert, which also features a brief shot of him training on the steps of a World War I memorial, is the latest move by Argentina to reassert its claim to the British overseas territory which it calls the Malvinas.

"It has come to our attention that our agency in Argentina created an ad for the Argentine government that has deeply offended many people in the UK and around the world," a spokesman for Young & Rubicam said.

"While we don't believe it was ever the intention of the ad's creators to desecrate a war memorial, they behaved in a manner that is unacceptable to our company."

And just so we're clear, I didn't mean brown like niggers. I'd never be so superficial. I meant they walk around acting as if the world owes them something despite having contributed nothing of value to it.

They're practically the textbook definition of unwarrantable self importance. But I really should stop now. It's not fair when they're not here to defend themselves. 1. They're too poor to afford internet and 2. They're too arrogant to learn English.

The Argentine government truly thinks the world can be suckered into supporting them on this under the guise of stamping out colonialism. By their estimation, we're all too stupid to realize Argentinian control of the islands would violate the principle of self-determination, which is the whole basis for rejecting colonialism in the first place.

If that's not a stupid and arrogant position, I don't know what is.

From what I see the Brits keep using the Self-Determination argument & that is a good argument. Now as an outsider, I would have to point out Ireland. If the same argument were valid? Assuming lolol that you really live in the Falklands, would you vote to be with Argentina or Britannia?

Edit: Men of Falklands would be too busy fucking the Sheep & have no time for MC

Good luck getting that vote because as you well know that sure did not work for those poor oppressed people of Ireland. They are still forced to get down on their knees and kiss the Queens hand.

lolo

I do notice that the moment I agree with the Brits about why they should retain the Falklands (because self-determination.) and then mention Ireland in the same context - Brits get somewhat lowcow mean and ugly.

Dare mention self rule for Ireland to any Brit and their bowels open wide & they soil themselves with anger.

Wiki says 70% are British. I imagine most want to remain so.
Of course when the Brits pulled off the land grab of the Falklands and filled it with Brits, they stacked the deck.

Irish in Ireland, we all know how the majority of the Irish feel about the British lolol.

Perhaps the Brits will wake up one day as they did when they turned over India to the Native population.

We could discuss Egypt - Sudan - on and on lolo. Brits are Infamous for Imperialism/Colonialism. Bugger land grabbers. London has over 600,000 Muslims and a peaceful lot they are lolo. UK Karma lolol

You know what my point is.

According to Wiki
Northern Ireland population 1,685,000, constituting about 30% of the island's total population and about 3% of the population of the United Kingdom.

Republic of Ireland occupying about five-sixths of the island of Ireland. The population was 4.58 million in 2011.

I leave it to you to praise the Provisional Irish Republican Army, for their fight for democracy & failure against the colonialism of British, with a larger oppressive army.

Look. Northern Ireland was free to join either the Union or Eire. They chose, democratically, to join the Union. Just because terrorists PIRA and RIRA wanted it otherwise does not mean anything.

Of course the Brits on the Island chose to remain Brits. As part & parcel of the inbreed colonialism, such is to be expected.

Variations of IRA freedom fighters only aim -> was to butthurt Brits.

So after Brits used the big guns on Republic of Ireland ramming colonialism up their buttholes.

"The 1998 Agreement was ratified by two referendums in both parts of Ireland, including an acceptance by the Republic that its claim to Northern Ireland _would only be achieved by persuasion and peaceful means._ This was an important part of the Northern Ireland peace process that has been under way since 1993."

There it stands. Mainland Brits gave up India and much of wrongfully obtained possessions & one day perhaps when the Indians in London/UK overwhelm the Brits, Ireland may one day be a Free Ireland.

Oh and lets not forget the Falkland Islands. So far removed from Britannia, yet colonialism is King/Queen there.

Wot? You mean all of a sudden Ireland is not a part of Britain? Praise the Lord

OK so now back to the ad.

> Britain has criticised Argentina for broadcasting a television advertisement referring to the Falkland Islands as "Argentinian soil",

The Falklands are Argentinian Soil that by Imperialism/Colonialism/LandGrab/ of & by Britannia.

Does that getting back to the ad please you?

Anonymous E replied with this 14 years ago, 4 minutes later, 2 days after the original post[^] [v] #318,923

Now you're just stupid. Argentinians are useless. They don't even make good housekeepers. Siding with them over the British is political suicide.

The ad is beyond cunty in that is doesn't show a single Falklander, as if they don't exist. You know why that is right, it's because they're not Argentinian.

Now to be 100% honest I was unaware of what Argentina has done for technology until this search.

My only axe to grind is wots fair is fair. French ripped off the world with Imperialism/Colonialism/LandGrab/
USA the same
Britannia the same.

French currently have butthurt over Mideast bad Karma coming back to haunt them.
Britain the same over India & Africa.
USA built on the backs of African Slaves and Chinese slaves and the rip off of Mexico. Well Mexico is getting back at USA by breeding far more USA citizens and one day may win back what the USA wrongfully took from them.

I put that up because someone said the topic is about the Ad! That line is the butthurt Brits have over the Ad!

No circle because again if you apply self determination to the Falklands, why not apply it to the Island of Ireland?

Republic of Ireland only put down the arms because of oppression & occupation by Brits. Brits with more guns more army. Not because they wanted to be British lolol.

So Killer Lettuce why is it Brits gave India back to India. Why South Africa and a long list of places back to the proper people?

Why do Brits hold on to the Falklands? Why did Brits build a Missile destroyer that was sunk by one single French Missile? Wots up with that?

Killer Lettuce !!iNo3FkiZx replied with this 14 years ago, 8 minutes later, 2 days after the original post[^] [v] #318,937

Why do you keep bringing up the missile? What does that have to do with the issue of who owns the Falklands?

Besides, I could point out how Argentina's armed forces lost much more than the British forces did. They came out worse.

is a righteous thing.
