I think that he played up a real event. He parodied a real life traumatic event, to help cope. that's okay. I'd say what happened was horrible for him, and these things might help.

even if it's somewhat of a fabrication of the truth i highly doubt he actually spent any time being held by the authorities.

and that's what i meant by the trolling on his part. i'm not really much aware of anything else he did but knowing his tendencies it probably included much more than just this single event.
