Is it weird Batman is a big part of my life? I love Batman, the psychology behind it, the characters and the messages it gives. I feel like a fan girl, but watching it and reading it helps me realise things about myself and life. Your thoughts? inb4obbessed

the comics are a lot more enjoyable than the cartoons, but it depends on what kind of seriousness/medium you're wanting at the time.

no. one of his several weapons doesn't really make his character extremely interesting. i mean, the joker, the mad hatter, mr freeze, some of the other villains and trying to get into their heads is pretty intriguing though

fundamentally dc has always been much darker and kind of adult-themed/gritty in comparison to marvel's more fantastical and light-hearted characters and stories. i like both but for different reasons. dark horse is pretty cool too.
