I used to order shit off dealextreme that shipped from Hong Kong all the time. Pepper spray, knives, brass knuckles, lasers that were >5mw of power that definitely should not have gotten through customs. They even sell cell phone and GPS blockers that are completely illegal in most countries. Nothing I ordered ever got seized by customs. They can't possibly check every single box, and even if they do, they can't open every single box to check for things like "is this laser really <5mw?"
They stopped selling a lot of that stuff altogether, because of legal issues with PayPal, and because customs was probably getting fed up with the few things they did find.

I have not used that pepper spray at all yet. Have you ever smelled pepper spray? You'd have to be out of your god damn mind to try it on food.

Was that in reference to the 30mw laser I bought from Hong Kong? Yes, it worked, as did the other 5mw lasers I bought. I bought a couple green ones and a violet one.

I have a lot of little brothers. Naw, the green ones are cool because you can actually see the beam, so I would use them to point at stars, or friends and I would do laser shows with smoke and shit. They're just fun to play with. The violet one was cool because it gave off light in the ultra-violet spectrum so the dot would change colors depending on what you pointed it at. The beam was also visible, but not as much. I got the 30mw one hoping it would be a lot more powerful, but it really wasn't. I want to get a blue one, but they're ridiculously expensive.
