Upside: Chicken eggshell is 95-97% calcium carbonate crystals.
Chew up the shell carefully & develop strong bones.
Downside: Salmonella enteritidis can contaminate the contents of clean, intact shelleggs as a result of infections of the reproductive tissue of laying hens.
