What are your favourite pieces? Is anyone a dancer? I'm just a spectator.

I've only seen one live performance, but it was overwhelmingly beautiful and remains my favourite: Paul Taylor's "Promethean Fire" when I was 16 (I was travelling through New York at the time; I live in a cultural wasteland that has nothing like this.) I also love Taylor's "Esplanade" and "Field of Grass", and George Balanchine's "Symphony in Three Movements" and especially "Jewels" (the Emeralds movement!) -- all of which I've seen only in recordings ._.

I learn from movies because learning from movies is the smartest thing ever. I know from my movies that Swan Lake is the only ballet so it is my favorite.

I still regret not taking ballet.
Not as much as before though, and I'm learning other dance styles so... yea.
I got my body from my mother (flexible, slender, and people tell me I walk with a certain 'something') and my mind from my father (I'm not as supernaturally gifted with words and foreign languages, unfortunately).
