Topic: I found scientific proof to solve the debate on whether Apple products are worthwhile
Lee O'Nidas !nBpim1wazU started this discussion 14 years ago#18,751
We know Apple products are overpriced meant for elitist snobs, but I did a scientific study that found...
Apple products are also cheap shit.
So my iPhone gets the tiniest bit of water at the base of the speakers, a few drops, where you connect the charger and then the horrible thing decides IT WILL NEVER EVER DETECT ANYTHING CONNECTED TO IT EVER AGAIN. Even after much work drying. If this is not a piece of shit, I don't know what is. This is like those shitty screwdrivers sold at the dollar store where the metal rips apart to nothing on first use.
I'd always taken such good care of my phone like it was a fragile thing ready to break at any second to not notice it until now. But just it's astounding the low level of quality Apple products are.
So there you have it. Mystery solved. Apple products are cheap shit sold a million times their worth. Debate solved.

Well.
I spilled a full cup of coffee on my open macbook once and it survived after taking action right away. Then a slosh of beer a year later, then a bit of cola. Caps lock is sticky, but other than that it's running fine.

I've also dropped it a few times. My iPod also survived an onslaught of abuse. Sorry for your loss.

I've seen a ton of people in public using cracked iDevices. It always makes me laugh.

imagine what it'd be like without smartphones, though, it's not like you're not going to just buy another brand of equal chinese quality.
no, you'll probably spend more on a new one this time around too

When people call me on my iPhone, they also have heard an echo on it too for at least a year. Speakerphone is off so that is not it.

Turn it off, take out the battery, and leave both in a jar filled with rice for a few days
