1. Replace all the grass in your lawn with astroturf. Saves you some gas money as well as the time spent out in the blistering sun.
2. Paint your house red with white trim. Red and white are affordable compared to other, more obscure colors, while still looking nice after a few years.
3. Sell your gas-guzzler and get a more efficient car.
4. Unsubscribe from cable and use the money to upgrade to a faster, better internet connection.

Home school your children and get a tax credit or deduction, idk, just make them bitches work. If you start their training early enough by 10 most children are ready to work a trade as an apprentice. You can profit off them for quite a while before they can legally run off and if they don't require too much physical correction then you've got a good shot at holding on to them once they're of legal age. No one works cheaper than family.

Not so sure Red is the lowest cost colour cause its a added pigment to white. When I buy paint I notice all colorus cost the same.

Mix the red and white together and you have pink. Paint it that color. If you're a large, hairy man with a mustache who wears leather it's extra fun to get a reaction from the neighborhood.

Red houses are ugly as fuck, good luck selling that shit too. The 'savings' wouldn't add up to much over the years, there are better ways to save money (wood burning stove for example). Barn houses, lol.

When I buy a bottle of expensive wine - I intended to drink IT - Not save it for resale as it becomes more valuable. So when I landscape my place or paint it, I do so for ME. Have never considered what I am doing re the eventual sale. I doubt I wood choose Red/White yet I can see where someone might favor such. So far no one in my hood (that I know of) has gone with such.

I'm a bit of a Real Estate nut. Here's the deal, in an up market you can buy a crappy looking house on the cheap, make it nice, live there for two years and sell -- keeping all the profit tax free. Do this every few years and you'll be living in a fucking dream house in a decade or so, if the market turns you can just stay where you're at. Not everyone can buy their dream house from the start.

Red and white is classic and beautiful. The majority of people are wrong on all but a handful of subjects most of the time anyhow. If we designed everything to appeal to the masses, before long, most of our factories would be turning out nothing but junk. Oh wait...

I have my dream house. When houses here is So Cal dropped to the cost to build or less, I bought several to rent out. Hated just hated the first two years re what it takes to fix up to rent plus manage this garbage disposal or water heater or as you know all those things that do go wrong. Now I have someone else managing it, but I first had to come up with people that do the fixing up at a fair and honest cost. Very hard to find people like that. Even harder to have back ups because great people become very busy.

4 Full disclosure I should point out - Its on a small bluff directly above the beach. Back yards near by and even a house have fallen down to the beach, due to cliff erosion. North and South of me. One day a serious earthquake could speed up this process, so having the rentals is good back up. Cost of what it takes to prevent the erosion is high. I have sufficient back yard at the moment which could go away lol. NONE of this reduces the value of the local beach front property, because God ain't building these beach fronts anymore. Of course God could take away mine one day.
