Are there any previous posters of the now deceased board AnonTalk around, or are you all retarded fuck pussies that jumped on the bandwagon to get some attention with your annoying, pathetic namefagging? I created at least 900 topics on AnonTalk and I miss several things about it compared to Minichan, GHOUL, you know the rest.

First off was the ability to anonymously discuss anything and get relevant replies only, there was seldom fucktarded pointless chit-chat that basically is all Minichan comprises of. If no-one helped you, you could let the topic delete then revive it and get relevant replies. The rules were bizarre, but if you followed them and used correct grammar, spelling and whatever other bullshit Kimmo dictated, you did have a lot more freedom than other sites (including this one and 4chan).

The rules on AnonTalk were actually fucking obeyed. If you didn't break the rules it wasn't deleted. That is something no-one can say is true for this place.

I kind of agree with OP and Falco. I seriously tried to give the place a chance, but Kimmo was just way too psychotic. It wasn't a bad concept, as sometimes you want a place to have real discussions instead of the typical chan stuff, but Kimmo just would not let it breathe.

Despite all the raiding people did, his hosts usually saw right through it and respected his property rights and free speech, except in a few case where he did break TOS, or what was just way too much of a psychotic client to handle. I forget which host it was, but one of them even said "He's clearly mentally ill, you're bullying him and should just leave him alone."

Even if he was left completely alone, the site would have died because of how he constantly insulted and abused his most loyal users, then wondered why the place was dead. Anyone with any degree of self-esteem who's also not a masochist left that place the first time they saw one of his messages.

I miss anontalk a little bit, and yeah the moderation made it so topics stayed relevant, and that was nice. However Kimmo Alm was a huge faggot with the grammar thing, a lot of good topics went undiscussed because the original poster just didn't put a comma in the right place. Furthermore, I noticed some hypocrisy, if a topic was really interesting/getting a lot of feedback it would be kept up regardless of grammar.

I actually think the fact that pedophiles congregated their wasn't a fault of Kimmo's, it's just something that happened. And the fact is, where does one draw the line? You can't claim to be an "any topic goes" website, and then ban whatever you don't like. Besides I'm pretty sure the site got taken because of money issues, not pedophilia. Although A lot of servers just sort of refused to put him on because of it. (which isn't the government, but private corporations.) It's a long story that I know little about.

He ended up with Black Lotus because they specialize in protection from DDoS attacks. Class act operation. However this comes at a very high price and they kept pushing him to the next tier after major attacks. I have been inside the LA operations center for work. I cannot say for a fact, they would not renew, but I do know for a fact they upped the cost so high and that probably drove Kimmo to kill the operation.

If a pedophile wants to talk about his problems, that's fine, but when they're discussing how to best distribute child pornography, and the admin tolerates that while deleting other serious topics, that's when there's a clear problem.
