What me thinks is wrong with this God concept is how the hell did them Hebrews toss out all the Greek and Roman Gods and boil them down to just one God. Them Christians a few thousand years ago tried adding one God in2 the mix by going for a Son of God.
Them missed the boat as a Daughter of God or many Daughters of God should be in the mix.
To Be PC current they should add a few Transgender sons and daughters as well.

I'm a college grad with ADD and an IQ of 140, and I have a job that requires me to do mundane repetitive tasks when I'm not busy. Furthermore, I'm in a department where I'm surrounded by TVs and interesting people to talk to, but if I get caught watching TV or talking to anyone, I get in trouble for not doing the mundane tasks. Boredom is an understatement.

Yes, because it's a stale topic. There's nothing to be discussed that I haven't heard over and over and over again, on the internet, in philosophy classes, between friends, in books, etc. Plus, I believe that religion is something that's personal to the individual, which is why arguing about it is so often futile. You can never convince the other party of anything. It always goes back and forth.
Also, saying I prefer boredom to that is a false dichotomy, as there are plenty of other topics to discuss, and I'm enjoying this thread just fine without religion.

Yes, I get that liquid and solid are states of matter, but it still depends on what context. I prefer liquid when I want water, but I prefer solid when I want ice. Also, how do you know I don't prefer gas? Or maybe I prefer plasma. Maybe I prefer that new state of matter that they recently discovered as matter approaches absolute zero. I'm gonna go with absolute zero one.

It's called a bose-einstein condensate and you can't play with it because scientists are selfish. Plasmas are too hot, and gasses are difficult to hold.

Being able to play with it or hold it in my hands has nothing to do with it. Even though plasma is too hot to touch, you can still do things with it. The electric arcs from a taser are plasma. The bose-einstein materials could be used to create quantum computers. I can look at the stars and appreciate that they're plasma. I can look at the clouds and appreciate the beauty of gases. I can breathe and smoke gases. I can't hold liquids in my hands much easier than I can hold gases, but I can still appreciate them. So, I stand by my previous statements.

Oh, another reason why I'm bored: my girlfriend's grandmother is in the hospital and she has power of attorney, which means she's busy dealing with all that. We're usually pretty good at keeping one another entertained. Right now we're both kinda miserable.

That whole thing about glass being a slow-moving liquid is a myth. Even if it had some sort of malleability (which it doesn't), having malleability does not make a solid a sort of liquid. If that were the case, iron would be more of a liquid than glass.

Not everyone. There are quite a few people who work there who claim to love having such an easy job where they do the same simple things all day. Many of them actually do tasks like collect cardboard boxes because they're bored. They're morons. I realize you don't have to be a genius to get bored, but I get particularly bored, particularly easily. As I mentioned to Nega, it's beyond boredom. My mind reels for stimulation during the day. It's enough to drive me insane.
