Well, how would you describe the overall tone? The Girl Next Door wasn't as eerie or shocking as some reviews made it sound. Was An American Crime just as graphic?

It's just a slow and boring movie, that's not graphic, but does stick to the true facts. Have you read the the Girl Next Door book by Jack Ketchum? Now that tome made me uncomfortable.

That is one of my favorite movies! My goodness I had a major crush on both Alicia Silverstone, and on Cary Elwes The movie itself was scary and hot, and it also starred Amber Benson who is one of my favorite actresses. When I was younger I would masturbate like crazy to this movie.
