I don't fall for fancy horse with style. I just play odds. But what's nice is a young horse in its first "race." especially if it has long odds that jump right before post. A lot of owners will run a "great" horse and before it has stats go for a big win and place a rather large bet while the odds pay off. So, basically that horse will likely bump a horse that would place or show. Just place a normal statistically sound bet and wheel in the 4th (long odds horse) for a potential upset. If it pays out it hits pretty good. My best was $550 payout on a $12 bet :D
