I'm thinking of the Sony Xperia S. Sony has released a way to unlock the bootloader so flashing custom will become easy and the specs are sweet. Any reasons I should not buy the Xperia?

Is the S the new one? I considered that one too but then I went with the Sensation because the Sony wasn't out yet

Allthough i was thinking the resolution might affect the battery life a lot but i don't know that for sure.
