I have an uncle (related by law, not blood) with Assburgers (hugh-functioning autism). I agree with the second article that if you simply allow inappropriate behaviours, the autistic child will never learn. My uncle was raised well, and you wouldn't even know he had it unless he told you. He obviously has flaws related to his aspergers, but most of them were ironed out during his childhood.
