I love spiders. Never have been bit when handling normal household spiders. Even the really big ones that pack their tiny little bags and move into my room with me every now and again.

I've often wanted a cat or dog but I can't stand animals licking. And reptilians you can't pet. Birds like to bite and aren't loving. Rabbits not that loving and chew computer wires. Rodents and hamsters poop every 5 min.
I'm wondering if spiders make good pets. Someone I talked with long ago said their spiders would go busy digging at night. But the novelty would probably wear off like you get bored of a cat doing its thing.
I didn't know tarantulas are good for pettin' tho.

Rodents you keep in a cage, so their pooping isn't a problem. Just clean out their cage every so often.
