Topic: How does one advertise as a hitman?

I've always wondered how someone would establish themselves as a contract killer. I mean with drug dealing you can kind of deal with your name being thrown around, law enforcement isn't going to bust down the guy you called for marijuana. Even if they do, evidence is pretty fucking easy to get rid of.

However, with killing, it seems like toeing the line of being well known enough to get jobs, and discreet enough to avoid detection would be pretty fucking hard to do. And you'd have to be somewhat well known, it isn't like people looking for hitmen just sort of casually ask people "Heyyyyy, will you kill some guy for me?", at least I think they don't.

Well anyway, how does this work?
