Whatever, meters are still arbitrary faggotry. They got it right pegging mass and temp to water in different states. But what the fuck is a meter? 1/1,000,000 of the circumference of the earth or some shit. Totally fucking useless.
Real scientists measure distance as light traveled for a specified unit of time now. Usually nanodistance, which is the the maximum distance light can travel in a billionth of a second. It's a great deal more useful with respect to engineering.

Actually, 1 mile = 1,609.344 meters, not 1600. Miles to feet is imperial to imperial, which is why it's exactly 5280, which is a weird fucking number, but at least a whole one.
