You won't get proper padding for anything less than $100. So unless you will buy a new chair every 3-5 months or only use this for an hour a day, invest in a proper chair.

The problem is the foam in cheap chairs will stop being foamy very fast. There's a so called index for foam densities and the one in cheap chairs is very low. You'll be sitting on the frame in no time.

I never did like armrests on a desk chair. They always seem to get in the way.

I have a busted sofa that has decent foam cushions. I can just take the foam out and put it into the chair (with adjustments, of course).
