I've been thinking of getting my own, but I have no idea what software to use.

Is TinyBBS good?

Isn't that a web host?

How would I install this on Byethost?

It also has widgets for implementing forums with no registration required for users. http://www.braveapps.com/forum/

There should be a readme. There might be an error in the SQL dump too, but that should be able to be fixed by removing any line that starts with an em dash.

So basically just create the mySQL database and imput that information into the files?

I'm confused by this line.

> Create a database using db.txt

Do I need to make the mySQL database on the byethost server or... what?

I don't see anywhere in the .txt to imput the information needed.

Open phpMyAdmin and import db.txt through that.

You don't need to use the Online File Manager?

And no, create your database, import db.txt into the database.

Okay, I see phpMyAdmin on ByetHost. Would I just make mySQL like I did before or use this?
I never used phpMyAdmin before.
