Hi guys,
I know news about Kim Dotcom (MegaUpload) doesn't always make it across to other countries (that's probably why they went after this guy in the first place), but there was a really interesting interview with him on New Zealand television tonight.
I think everyone should watch this interview and learn how insane this whole thing and how retarded the FBI are being. (lolamerica)

I just can't feel sorry for someone with hundreds of millions of dollars in his bank account. Currently he has no money because it was all taken from him (along with all this assets) without even a trial.

There *IS* an obligation not to treat someone guilty without trial, however.

No there isn't an obligation, but I've seen poverty with my own eyes, it just seems silly that he is whoring all his money while people starve. Anyways I'm not saying he was treated fairly, but Kim could easily go offshore and live comfortably out of the USA's jurisdiction (some obscure country with no extradition treaty). It's just impossible for me personally to empathize with someone like him.

Well, I don't feel sorry for him personally (in the interview he still seems very happy etc). What bugs me is the injustice, the American governments attitude, and the fact that the NZ government (at first) appeared to just roll over for it.
It's been reassuring to see that NZ granted him bail, despite the US appeal...
