Long-term effects of DMT:
-Reduced endogenous production of serotonin (Callaway 1998)
-Downregulation and cellular internalization of serotonin receptors (5-HT1A, 5-HT1B, 5-HT1D, and others...) (Keiser 2009; Pierce 1989)
-valvular heart disease (Roth 2007)
-Reduced endogenous production of dopamine, norepinephrine and epinephrine. And similar effects to their corresponding receptors (Burchett 2006; Bunzow 2001)
-Hallucinogen persisting perception disorder (Abraham 2002)
These changes may lead to depression, derealization and the Pseudobulbar affect.
It is thought that this neurotoxic agent elicits a cascade of effects which lead to cellular hyperpolarization through calcium ion channels. This hyperpolarization is suspected to lead to uncontrolled electrical impulses which trigger apoptosis. More work is although necessary to determine the exact mechanism.

That sounds exactly like what a pussy would say.

Nah, don't give him shit for it. I fully research my drugs before even trying them. There's always risks taking anything, and possible short-term and long-term effects. That's why you have to do some real research and see how people have reacted to it instead of just reading what [can] happen. Smoking weed at a young age gives a person a higher chance of developing schizophrenia. I know lots of people that started when we were in grade 6-8. They're still fine today.

Doing it wrong so hard.

I used a piece of weed to scrub the jars out. Didn't think it would be enough for a breakthrough. I hit it twice to taste it and make sure I had crystalized it properly. Apparently I did.
And trust me, I know how to properly treat DiMiTri with respect. Broke my girl through for the first time. We embraced and she let go of everything. It was one of the most beautiful experiences of my life. The wake n bake was a pretty bad idea though.

DMT is religious drug experience. If drugs were Catholicism, it'd be the rite of confirmation. It's something you prepare for and something you really only need to do once if you've done it properly.

I disagree

I used to feel that way too. But after having done it a few more times I realize I never really got as much out of later experiences as I did the first one. It was fun sure, but it's like falling in love for the first time. You can never get quite the same rush again.
So for me, it's not worth doing again given the potential health implications.

I really don't think the implications are as serial is they make them sound. Everything in moderation. I kind of know what you mean about the first time being the best, but I cannot agree. I've broken through a dozen or so times and none of them were remotely as intense and powerful as breaking through with my girl. I don't know if I'll ever match that one again though.
I hoap so.
