He explained the biblical history of dreams for about 15 minutes, making sure to add in how true it all is. He did not explain quranic dream history or Shinto theories on dreams.

I'm incredibly close to going to the principal. I'm trying to be nice and not a dick about it, but this is getting ridiculous. I started laughing with a friend after he stated how it was FACT and he walked over right next to us and continued whatever he was talking about.
He also really pushes the idea of dream interpretation (not technically related to the above, but still) and talks about how we aren't like other cultures that put great value in the content of their dreams and that we should. And when I say dream interpretation, I mean like "snakes in your dreams means you have some sort issue you're afraid of"

According to another student, he puts these religion-related questions on the test over this chapter (this stuff isn't in the chapter, it's his own thing he's adding in). If that's the case, I'll find some way to not do those questions and bring it up with him that it's not really right for him to do this.

Maybe you could start making a list of events which you feel "crossed the line" in some way. If you decide to pursue this, you will probably need specific incidents to point to, and documenting everything may help you organize your thinking about what he is specifically doing that is problematic. That way you don't end up just shrugging lamely and saying, "Well, he talked about Jesus a lot." I would urge you to wait until you are finished with the class before coming to the principal with a list of complaints about how the class is taught.
In college, you may have a class or two where a professor ends up using the classroom as an opportunity to rant about some political view or pet issue to a captive audience. It happens, and it is often hard to know exactly when to step in and complain about it -- especially if you don't necessarily agree with subject matter. In the meantime, consider this practice.

My classes only have like 20 people and we're kinda allowed to interrupt so we do. You do know that "separation of church and state" is a 20th century term right? Public schools can and do teach about different religious doctrines. It's an important part of cultural studies.

I'll explain to you why you're wrong when I'm not on my phone. Basically, of course it's ok to talk about religion Im the appropriate class as long as one is not argued to be truer than any other. In this case, the instructor advocated the Judeo-Christian answer to dream interpretation as correct. Which is problematic for 2 reasons. Firstly, his claim is simply false. Secondly, by advocating this, he is privileging the Christian religion over any others (not that he even considered any others).
Edit: Also, the separation of church and state can be traced back to at least Jefferson's Letter to the Danbury Baptists in 1802. I hope to god you're just trolling though.
