ok, vocalon and DW, for the time being your spy duties are exclusively scouting. we need maps. we need them posted here so we can mark them up. I will mark a chest in the storage room as armory. take from it what you need, and take food. take dirt and glass to build temporary shelters. If you find a city, or anything of importance (especially what look like small factions) take a screenshot of the map or leave it in the Armory chest.
when we find a target faction we'll build a small bunker, load it up with food and equipment, set the spawn and attack them. we need to fight them over there before we have to fight them over here. it's war on terror rules.

Be aware that we've been spotted by something something dennis, i think. It loos like he was passing by and camped for the night, but he may have been a scout. I heard him log in (thunder clap) and then spotted him heading south. Someone's got a fix on our above ground village.
The armory chest is now stocked with lighy and heavy armor and weapons, plus everything to make maps. Scouts, take light armor and weps and maps. Take flint and tender! If you find a colony take a screen shot of the map.
If there's no one home burn it down and leave a sign which reads:
You are ordered
To pay a tax of
10 diamonds weekly
To minichanopolis
And another:
If you fail to
Pay then you
Will be destroyed
If it's a faction leave the same signs near their property and surround it with torches. Make sure they know what's about to happen.

Oh yeah, if you do scout you can use /f map and it'll show you a shitty map that is lets you see faction claimed land for a pretty good distance. If you bind it to a macro it makes looking for hidden underground bases or around mountains.
Helps you cover large amounts of ground. I believe every character on the map represents a 16x16 chunk. You can see a couple of hundred chunks at a time represented as slashes and periods i think. Anything thats not background is a faction.

I suggest a war with Rai, that is the territory with the big wall around where we were the other day. I found a few ways in (Hollow out trees just outside his territory and jump in) so we could sneak some people in there and then start a way and tear the place down? I dunno how the wars work, lol.

Everyone starts as a neutral faction. Neutrals can hurt neutrals in "the wilderness." neutrals cannot hurt other neutrals while on their rivals turf.
When somone declares war on you, or you on them, then both factions are at war. When you are at war you can hurt enemies while on their turf.
Each person is worth 40/40 power. If you die doing anything you lose 2 power 38/40. The total power of all faction members makes the faction max power. Max power allows you to claim land. The more power, re: people, you have the more land you can claim.
But, if your people die and you lose too much power then other can claim your land. For example, a faction with 10 people has 400 power, if you claim max land, and then drop to 350 power, then someone can claim 50 power worth of land.

Then we can claim their walls and tear them down.
Or, we can find a way in underground, try to jump over walls, TnT them. Anything really to draw people out into a fight. Burn their forest, taunt them with signs. Attempt to enforce taxes on them.
