minecraft server. survival server w/pvp on. lots of mods. it's apparently a multiverse with one protected creative zone.
gonna be a thief/assassin
i've already started squatting in some dude's house, maybe he'll be my first kill.
plan to burn this place down after i head out in the morning (leave no evidence)

he's also a full furfag-fursuiter (falco you'll love him)

but it's pvp (griefing allowed) with factions and towns and shit. last year when i played on this server we had some epic wars. I watched gigantic cities burn to the ground and people rage like mother fuckers on the forums. (yes, there are forums)
one group of people founded and refounded a city called Haven, always bigger than the last. They'd improve their walls, had a council to deal with saboteurs and traitors, they were super paranoid. a band of raiders called AirRaid constantly fucked with them. creeper attacks, TnT cannon sieges, paid people diamonds to dig them hidden entrances, that kind of thing.
I was in a faction called PAX, which was summarily destroyed by AirRaid in what could only be described as a complete and total inferno.
we joined Haven 3 (or 4,i don't rememeber) and made it our goal to do nothing but hunt and kill AirRaid. The problem is that they really did act like a band of raiders. They only used what they stole, never built bases, operated out of temporary holes in the ground and moved their spawn points around constantly and positioned them aggressively when attacking a town. they were really hard to find, then they'd move. when we did finally find their "secret stash" they didn't have much other than food, diamond armor and weapons. unfortunately there was no way to permanently "kill" them and tibs (the fursuiter admin) wouldn't let us try and catch them in a jail, but, it was fun none the less.

I'll try it, but hearing it has factions turns me off a bit... seems kinda cheap, you should be forced to stay online or put in some fucking effort to prevent having your shit griefed.

i agree, but it's a decent compromise. it's limited protection, but it keeps people from whining too much about having zero protection. this server is full of griefing though. it's practically encouraged. you won't get banned for stealing or burning people's shit up for fun.

i started a faction called minichan. come join it damnit, we're going to rule that place.
and he's got several mods enabled, put ssss.me in the browser url bar and it'll navigate to a homepage with information and links to the forum. if you're lucky he still has his fursuiter convention pictures still up.
