His problem with his wit is that it's very pseudo-intellectual and it usually falls back upon things that people are already aware of but he thinks he's the first to say it. I will have a listen and report back with my opinion, however I will not guarantee I will listen to the entire thing. Thank you for sharing it, though.

Joe's comedy and his podcast are two entirely different animals I'm guessing.
Watch the vid, if you don't find it at all interesting then the podcast wouldn't interest you either.

I made it through about 3 or so minutes and the result was as expected. These things are really no different from the musings of Carlin, Bruce, Dawkins, or otherwise. His comedy isn't really too far from the edge in this except he throws in jokes about sex or stupidity. He tries to make himself appear clever/intellectually focused by talking about topics such as sub-atomic particles as if he is "in the know" about such matters but tries to appeal to the commonwealth by using the word "fuck" or so here and there. It's very boring and has been done to death by many many people before him and I'm sure it will be done by many many people after him.
His contemporary, Doug Stanhope, is a lot more down to earth and real with his musings/comedy and he doesn't pretend to be something he isn't. You should check him out.

Yah, I'm a fan of Stanhope too. I like putting on podcasts while I'm cleaning or fixing stuff etc, makes good background noise. I see your points and wouldn't really disagree. I can listen to the experts in subjects and be fascinated too, but they usually aren't quite as entertaining about it.

And that is a totally fair point, so please don't interpret my response as if I am speaking condescendingly to you or your choice. I can see the usefulness of such a podcast doing such chores. It is certainly not a bad idea. Yes, these things are meant to be enjoyed as such, so if it entertains you, then it effectively has done its job.

@OP that was a good cast! I listened to it a few days ago I believe? The new one has deadmau5 apparently, I've listened to 9% and am not impressed.
