Getting the power back down here seems to be a big problem with that. Maybe if we buy a bunch of extension cords at Walmart and just string them all together...

Robotic coupling nano-wires with automatic syncing, two pairs of fiber arrays one extending from earth and the other extending from the power plant... passing through the L-point would charge powerbanks on the planet automatically.
