Is fucking possible, too bad it will never happen on this planet.
The good news however is that there are 3 local points that we pass through often and we have plenty of wires...
So why don't we have space power plants yet?

Getting the power back down here seems to be a big problem with that. Maybe if we buy a bunch of extension cords at Walmart and just string them all together...

Robotic coupling nano-wires with automatic syncing, two pairs of fiber arrays one extending from earth and the other extending from the power plant... passing through the L-point would charge powerbanks on the planet automatically.
