I used oregano, basil, and roseary with some paste. I cooked it and it was not really bad, but I need something else. Perhaps some minced garlic and olive oil?

Sugar is used in a lot of tomato recipes because tomatoes are quite "tangy" before they are sweetened. Don't be afraid to add a little sugar in any tomato based recipe. I've used a small amount of Italian ground sausage (cook and leave grease in) when making pizza sauce with excellent results.

Can you provide a specific recipe?

I don't really use a specific recipe, I only make pizza sauce when my garden is producing tomatoes. It's pretty easy to just add stuff to taste, the trick is to add a little at a time. I'd say something like a quarter pound of sausage per 8 tomatoes and the normal ingredients, take it very easy with the rosemary though, that shit is potent and gets stronger when cooked.

You should make a thread with pictures and the recipe shown. I would love that.

I will when tomatoes come in this summer! I also do a tomato soup thread. Tomatoes are so easy to grow and go in so many things, I overplant every year and give a bunch away along with canning and tomato recipes for months.
