LOL..I am having fun in Beijing, but I got lost yesterday and probably walked about 20 miles (literally) in despair trying to find my apartment. Even the taxi did not know where it was lol. I am resting up for today's walk.

No, but only because these days, they are tourist traps. They will overcharge you and threaten you if you remind them of the original fare that you agreed on. They are here basically for western tourists. I did take a taxi, though, and the subway. I walked the rest of the time. I was literally walking around lost for hours. I was beginning to become a bit scared. I was on the verge of taking a hotel room for the night!
