I have ED from so many psych meds. Are you sure this is genetic? I'll bet at the end of the day there's an evironmental or pharmacautial component to this. Even if it's just the weather. You'd have to known how Russians raised in other climates differ from Russians raised in Russia. Maybe they over-flouridate the water or have lax regulations regarding the use of agricultural chemicals known to have negative health implications.
I suspect this has more to do with Russian organization being so fucked up politically and economically than it does with actual genetics.

I agree with this statement. 90% can't be explained by genes. If it were genes, that number would quickly drop after just one generation from genes mixing and natural selection. This also sounds like a modern problem. Something environmental must be causing this.

It's going to be selected out even if it's environmentally driven. Those with physiology to resist whatever's ultimately causing this will be more successful than those without.
The fact that it persists suggests it is deliberate maniuplation of the population. Perhaps the government is looking to bring rates of childbirth down.

It's not going to be selected out if there are drugs to counteract it, which there are.
And I doubt Russia would be intentionally trying to get birth rates down. They don't have overpopulation problems like other Asian countries.

I hear what you're saying and to some degree that's true. But the selection process never stops really. Now we're just affording a reproductive advantage to men who can afford the drugs and respond well to them over those who cannot afford them or do not respond well to them.
