Here's an insane HD video of some urban explorers exploring the NYC subways and then climbing atop the Brooklyn bridge (along with some other things). It's a bit long, but it's seriously an amazing video and should inspire you for some new things.
Also, I like your pictures of that abandoned house. Any backstory on what happened to it?

Horizons was a future-living dark ride that was in Epcot from 1983 until it was destroyed in 2000. Two guys loved it so much, they got out of their cars and started exploring the elaborate sets and documenting it in every way they could before it was gone forever. (For some reason, Horizons had no security system.)
This lasted for a couple years and they got a lot of footage. After a while, they started camping out in the ride for hours in secret hiding places.
It was actually very risky and dangerous, cause dark rides are really just big machines that can kill you if you get out and do what they did.

I tried to get into that, but there's absolutely nothing to go on in my area. Most places are sealed shut with trespassing laws strictly enforced or they very quickly become crack-houses.

I'm fortunate to live in the middle of suburbia, where 30 minutes down the road is a big city, and in the other direction rural areas, and in the middle old highways.
Of all the places I've been I've only gotten in trouble once.
It was a HUGE hospital under construction (had tons of media attention due to the controversy behind it) And a security guard saw me sneak in and called the cops before I knew about it. I got off pretty easy though

This wasn't the Birmingham I expected it to be. By the time I'd got to Broken Bow and mentioning suburbs and middle schools I was wondering whether you were using US Terminology to be accommodating to an international audience and then you said something about Alabama so I guess there is a Birmingham in Alabama.
