Topic: think about it

Cars. They haven't really changed much have they. No major redesigns, just 4 wheels, headlights and a steering wheel. I mean, c'mon. They could improve on that. They promised us god-damned flying rocket cars in the future!

It's 20-god damned-12

where's my motha-fuckin' rocket car!!

They could at least try something different, like rubber roads and asphalt tires. Think about it, how could you get hurt crashing on a rubber road? rubber roads would even help with global warming by bouncing light back into space! I blame detroit for not bringing us rubber roads sooner, they just want their filthy union/mob money.

I just want a car that goes like a 100 miles per gallon of gas, or a good electric car for a decent price.

Excellent! We'll make the expensive roads out of the soft material that doesn't last long, and we'll make the cheap car tires out the extremely heavy long lasting material!

We'll have roads that last 2-3 years, and car tires that last 15. OP is a genius.

but if it saves lives then it's worth it. Think about it, it's a good transition to flying rocket cars, you know, in case they crash they'll have a safe place to do it. And once everyone is flying rocket cars then we'll have no need for durable long lasting surface roads. Try thinking long term, bud.

What have you got against flying rocket cars?

Nothing! Do want but we won't see them go mainstream in our lifetimes, the infrastructure is not ready.

True, we'd at least need rubber roads first. But yeah, i'd love to see cars with fins again.

Squeegee, ILY, but fuck cars. What we've needed for ages is a high-speed maglev rail network.
Loled at your asphalt tires though. Effin brill. <3

Those cars are sort of there already. 100 kilometers on a litre of fuel easily.
