Topic: I guarantee that SOPA/PIPA will not become law.

Anonymous A started this discussion 15 years ago #16,422

Because Obama will deliver the change we can believe in. He's not just another empty suit sucking corporate cocks, this man is for real.

So stop your "blackouts" and bitching, get back to work. Obama is fighting for freedom and for rights.

Thank you.

Oh no, an opinion this mainstream won't go down well on here!

Obama has already closed Guantanamo and ended Iraq. When the PIPA bill come to his desk, he's going to tell the large media companies to get fucked and then have a meeting with his core constituents (young, educated twentysomethings) to make sure he's addressing all of their concerns. Obama believes in honesty and transparency.

And what if he fails (or doesn't care)? Gotta make sure that won't happen :)

Obama does care, that's why he works so hard on changing things.

And that is your opinion. We're talking about a politician's though-flow here, so before you make those unfounded claims hurry off to find some sources worth citing.

No, it's your opinion. Obama has categorically stated he believes in change, civil liberties, and transparency in government. If you look at his record, he has consistently fought for these values.

My opinion is vastly different from yours, and it's irrelevant what my opinion is. The point is that you come here making some claims on a sensitive subject without any sources, citations or proof.

Go back to school and learn how to defend your arguments.

I'd rather not discuss this subject with you.

That's a rather autistic response.

Also, everyone, please keep making online petitions and blacking out websites. Nothing scares the big four media conglomerates and the government more than blog postings and online petitions. Online petitions have a proven track record of effecting actual policy change, which is why real revolutionaries use them.
