> How is she “antiwomen and antichildren†again? It seems a lot of those organizations take tax dollars predominantly from men and put them towards women’s programs. > Let me break this down for you: If a man periodically robs a candy store for lollies and gives them to the kiddies at the park and a police officer eventually arrests that man, the police officer does not hate children. Think, girl.

You won't see this on feministing.
= The fact that this man has continually found people to have sex with him should outrage all of us.
I fail to see how a man's sex life would “outrage†anyone without emotional issues to begin with. I know the author is trying to be snide and funny, but she has made herself into an excellent case study on why men are so averse to feminism. If we can sidestep the scripture on privilege and other rationalizations, a person of average intelligence can see that feminism actually calls for placing a man as the sole responsible party for anything sexual. If the tragedy of heterosexual sex occurs, the man does not have sex with a woman or some women, he just “found people to have sex with.â€
This author tries to pass herself off as someone who is independent and brave, but in an earlier piece she reveals who she really is – a girl who suffers from power issues and a justifiable inferiority complex. Despite evidence any hormonally balanced person would consider, including the illegal behavior by the Mike Nifong, the poor dear still finds herself unable to issue an apology to the victims and their families.
While I agree with some of the issues raised by this site, including a woman’s right to have an abortion (it’s pronounced “abortionâ€, not “reproductive justiceâ€), having these issues plastered on this psychological miscarriage does us no favors. Please, just sit down and shut up for once!

these type of women make me sick because they assume that women can't do bad things or make decisions without being coerced.

She has written for some more mainstream publications. One article which stands out is titled Making Connections Between Feminism and Prison Abolitionism. > High rates of incarceration has such deleterious side effects that we have only begun to understand. > Rate of incarceration and the prison industrial complex is a feminist issue whether it appears to be on the surface or not.
Heh.
So I wrote this to Alternet:
Dear Sir or Ma'am,
You are currently hosting several articles penned by Samhita Mukhopadhyay. While an openness to intellectual diversity is certainly a virtue I try to nourish, I find a certain article of hers titled Making Connections Between Feminism and Prison Abolitionism ( link: http://www.alternet.org/story/80617/making_connections_between_feminism_and_prison_abolitionism/ ) is at odds with her views concerning Crystal Gail Mangum and the Duke Lacrosse tragedy ( link: http://feministing.com/2007/04/12/you_will_not_shame_me/ ). I understand that her affinity for this woman may have changed, but Samhita has yet to write an apology to the victims or their families for her part in this defamation. The following excerpt seems to imply that they even deserved the mistreatment they received by an overzealous prosecutor!
"The general public now believes that black strippers ARE in fact lying whores and the worst thing that could happen to a strapping Duke lacrosse player is that his lily white reputation is marred by false accusations."
I hope that by bringing this incongruity to the attention of the Alternet management there may be some resolution on behalf of the Samhita or the host.
Thank you,
(name redacted)

I don't have any real plan, I'm just curious what will happen. What they do with what I gave them is their choice.
