Let's say Snake is only armed with the "rudimentary" stuff he can glean from his time in the New York City prison on Manhattan Island in "Escape From New York."
And Max is armed with the stuff he gleaned from the post-apocalyptic world in "The Road Warrior."
Pretty even, more or less weapon-wise.
