I honestly don't know. It's deeply troubling that god is written as sending anyone who doesn't worship him to hell, but this never seems to be addressed by theists.

In orthodox Christian doctrine, Hell was created as a place to put Satan. Satan does not torture people in Hell; rather, Satan is tortured in Hell. They do not view God as sadistic.

As I pointed out, this is not common to all strains of Christianity. YOur question evokes the Euthyphro dilemma: does God not like sin because it is evil, or is sin evil because God does not like it? Most theologians do not consider God to have set arbitrary rules.

I'm a non believer but satan was supposed to be his own man, and he pissed off god because he was the first sinner or whatever. Then he created or was sent to hell. Religion is such bullshit

If you look through the relevant source texts as well as the respective records of Catholic church history you'll quickly discover that the majority of Bible writers as well as the early Christian sects didn't believe in something like an eternal hell.

He is destined to burn in hell (the Lake of Fire) along with all the other sinners after the Judgement Day. According to the Bible, everybody dead is currently 'asleep' until God 'wakes' everybody up to judge them in the future, which will include Satan and his demons.

Unbelievers don't get an eternal life, be it in hell or anywhere else.
Meaning if you're an unbeliever, god will give you exactly what you expected -- oblivion.
