Driving along, minding my own fucking business and just enjoying life in my sweet new ride.
Enter some 30 year old shitbag in his '96 Corolla to ruin my day. Motherfucker runs the red light at full speed while I'm right in the middle of the fucking intersection with nowhere to go. Slams into the back side of my car. Knocks the rear wheel right into the undercarrage. Passenger side airbags deploy. Car spins like hell until slamming into a utility pole head on. Front airbag deploys. Police, fire and ambulance show up in mere minutes.
TEXTING WHILE DRIVING! Holy fuck, people still do that shit?
Lucky for me there were witnesses, so at least I don't have to worry about any "he said/she said" bullshit. I somehow managed to pull a glute muscle and my hip is bruised up a bit from hitting the seatbelt buckle so hard, but I'm grateful to have faired as well as I did. Next car's gonna be a Hyundai for sure.
