Topic: Will men someday be where women were?

Anonymous A started this discussion 15 years ago #16,219

It seems as if the more time advances. The more women take the lead and men become the secondary gender.

Could 2050 see men in the homes and women in the workforce?

We're approaching equilibrium, not role reversals.

Why does it seem like feminism wants to reverse the roles?

What makes you think you'd do nothing, boy?

You'd be stuck with the children, cooking, and cleaning.

What would our reactive movement be? Masculist sounds gay.

the way i figure it the only reason men would give up their roles to women is if men had already invented robots to do that shit work for us. That's what everything is working towards. women do the work that men haven't built machines for, and soon, one day, perhaps women can be taught how to make their own machines--and then men may rest.

We will sooner create android females than your scenario.

It exists. And yes, the terms 'masculism' and 'masculinist' are used by these dudes to distinquish themselves from those advocating a return to traditional patriarchy. Traditional patriarchy advocates male dominance over women, whereas masculism concerns itself only with empowering men to direct thier own lives.

And yes, it is gay, at least in part. Philisophically, it's sort of obligated to respect a dude's right to choose gay sexual relations for himself if he feels such a thing is appropirate for him.

from your country?
