Topic: Is Android really taking over?

Anonymous A started this discussion 15 years ago #16,024

So I hear the Kindle Fire was the best selling internet enabled device this Christmas, and Android smartphones surpassed the 50% mark with respect to all smartphones currently in use.

Do people really like the AOSP or do they just like cheap devices they can hack open for fun?

It's taking over a little. But I don't think it will ever become bigger thn the stuff Apple puts out.
