The problem is that it's often extremely demanding physical work which lasts for many hours, leaving the person exhausted. USA worker's rights laws are also very unfair. Due to the way American cities are constructed, most people are living many miles from businesses, and the USA does not have a very good bus service, which means that a car is often needed to get into work. Many people are finding themselves having to choose between gas and electricity this month.
